Pope Francis celebrated the eighth World Day of the Poor on Sunday, November 17th. The theme for this year is “The prayer of the poor rises up to God."
Pope Francis had lunch with about 1,300 poor people at the Vatican
As has become customary, Pope Francis celebrated World Day of the Poor with some of the poor people of Rome, who joined him for lunch after he has presided over mass and Angelus.
