Sancoale - Goa, April 3, 2025 : St. Joseph Vaz High School, located in Sancoale, Goa, stands as a beacon of education and community service. Established in 1957, the school is managed by Holy Family of Nazareth Educational Society (HFNES), named after St. Joseph Vaz, the first Goan saint. Berna Rodrigues, the President of HFNES schools and Mariquinha Rodrigues, in the presence of the school teachers, students and the Headmistress Sr. Claret Varela, symbolizing the institution’s ongoing commitment to enhancing student welfare and accessibility. This addition not only improves transportation facilities but also underscores the school’s dedication to adapting to the evolving needs of its community.
The academic performance of St. Joseph Vaz High School is noteworthy. In the SSC (Secondary School Certificate) examinations, as of 8 years students successfully passed, achieving an impressive pass percentage. The previous years, in the SSC exams the school recorded a perfect 100% pass rate, with all students clearing the examination. These consistently high results underscore the school's dedication to academic excellence and its effectiveness in preparing students for crucial board examinations.
