Mangaluru, Oct 13, 2024 : Members of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) visited Pavoor - Uliya, the area where illegal sand mining is taking place and have personally investigated the problems there and expressed their support by saying that we are all with you. Due to this, the confidence of the people of Pavoor - Uliya region has increased even more. Such support was much needed at this stage. Residents there have informed their problems thoroughly.

Father Manohar D'Souza, the parish priest there, welcomed everyone. Central Vice President Steven Rodrigues presided, Paul Rolpi D'Costa, Ex-President, Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) discussed the next step.

Stany Lobo, immediate past president, gave the details of the work done so far. Joint Secretary Lavina D'Souza thanked everyone. Advocates Benedict, Wilfred Alvares, Dolpi D'Souza, Santosh D'Souza, Wilma Monteiro, Arun D'Souza, Gilbert D'Souza and residents of the area were present.
