Mangaluru, Oct 3, 2024 : St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organises a national level Inter-collegiate IT and Management fest "Agnesia 2K24" on Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4 at St Agnes campus.

The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) is themed under the name "Aavirbhav", IT fest for PG students and the Department of Business Administration (MBA) is themed under the name "Euphoria", a Management fest for UG and PG students will take place with several exciting events along with various colleges competing for these events.

The Chief Guest for the inaugural programme is Mr Walter Nandalike, Founder, Daijiworld Media Network and the Guest of Honour will be Mr Ashok Shrestha, Retired Portfolio Director, GE Renewable Energy.
 
St Agnes College, Mangaluru, established in 1921, is the first Catholic women's college in South India and second in the country. St Agnes Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research was established in the year 2008.

In a radical move towards integrated education, the college admitted male students during the academic year 2022-23. The college has the singular distinction of being the first in Mangalore University to be re-accredited by NAAC with an A+ Grade, CGPA 3.65/4 in the fourth cycle.

MBA events: ENRON – Best manager, THE INTERN – Human Resource, MAD MEN – Marketing, THE SIXTH SENSE – Quiz, MONEYBALL – Finance, MASTERMINDS – Best Management Team, KALAVAIBHAV (on 4th Oct) and GULLY CRICKET (on 3rd Oct)
