Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2024 : St. Theresa's School celebrated its Patron's Day in September, honoring St. Thérèse of Lisieux. The nine-day novena set a reflective tone, culminating in vibrant activities.

Kindergarten Festivities:

On September 26, the kindergarteners, along with Principal Sr. Lourdes and Vice Principal Sr. Reena, celebrated by offering roses and singing hymns, emphasizing St. Thérèse's virtues.

Quiz for classes 1 and 2:
A quiz on September 24 for grades 1 and 2 highlighted St. Thérèse's life, fostering values of kindness and compassion.

Celebration by the students of classes 1 & 2:
On September 26, these grades held a prayer service, a welcome dance, and a skit on the school's history, with Sr. Crisette delivering an inspiring message on education and community service.

Little Way Association Prayer Service:

Students from grades 6 and 7 led a prayer service on September 26, focusing on St. Thérèse's humility and love, ending with blessings from the Principal.

Assembly by Primary Students:
On September 27, grades V A and B hosted an assembly with prayers, hymns, a skit, and a dance addressing mobile phone use. Sr. Shaila B.S. encouraged students to embody St. Thérèse's values.

High School Assembly:

Grade 8 students led the high school assembly with prayers, a skit on St. Thérèse, and a dance about social media influence. The event recognized grade X student Saneeha Shetty for her athletic achievements, concluding with an action song, sweets for students, and a festive staff meal.

The celebration offered a meaningful opportunity for community bonding and spiritual reflection, honoring St. Thérèse's enduring values of kindness, humility, and service.
