Omzoor, Sep 23 : ICYM, in collaboration with the Interreligious dialogue unit of Holy Family Church Omzoor, hosted the "Souharda Koota - Thene Habba 2024" on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The event commenced with a Prayer Dance by ICYM members.

Among the dignitaries present were Parish Priest Fr. William Menezes, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Commission Mr. Arthur Dsouza, Secretary Mrs. Daffny Lewis, and several community leaders  such as Mr. Sadananda Alva, Mr. Mohammed Baddur, Mr. Melwyn Braggs, Mr. Zaffrulaka Wodyer, and Mr. Yaseen, the President of Adyar Panchayath, which also included Ex-President of Meramajal Grama Panchayath Mrs. Vrinda, Coordinator of 21 parish Commissions and ICYM Animator Mr. Elroy Saldanha, ICYM President Hancil Rodrigues, and Secretary of the Interreligious Dialogue Roylin Saldanha.

Mr. Elroy Saldanha welcomed the attendees, and all guests received a floral green welcome. The event featured reflections on interreligious harmony from Mr. Sadananda Alva, Mr. Yaseen, Mr. Mohammed Baddur, Mr. Melwyn Braggs, and Mrs. Vrinda. This was followed by a presidential address from parish priest Fr. William Menezes. Ms. Diyola Dsouza delivered the Vote of Thanks. The event concluded with Fr. Menezes blessing the food and everyone enjoying lunch together.
