Nirkan - Bantwal, Sep 12 : The ICYM unit of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Nirkan conducted the ‘Phulan Jhelyan Altharik Maan’ garland making competition in celebration of the Nativity of Mother Mary. Participants were instructed to submit their photos online by September 6, 2024, following the unit’s rules.

The competition received enthusiastic participation from parishioners, with 10 entries in total. Mrs. Lona D’Souza from Lourdes Ward won first place, and Mrs. Victoria Lobo from St. Antony Ward secured second place.

Rev Fr Michael Lobo distributed the Prizes and consolation gifts to the winners and participants on September 8, 2024, following the Feast Mass.
