Puttur, 23 November 2024 : “Responsible service shapes lives and brightens the world,” remarked Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal of St Philomena Autonomous College, as he presided over the inaugural ceremony of ‘Philo Sevamrutha 2024’, the Annual NSS Fest organized by the NSS units of the college.
In his address, Dr Monteiro emphasized the transformative power of dedicated service, stressing the role of the NSS in fostering responsibility and a sense of purpose among students. The fest served as a platform to celebrate the spirit of service and commitment to societal betterment.
NSS officer Dr Chandrashekar K. presented introductory remarks. NSS Secretary Niranjan Kumar extended a warm welcome. NSS Unit Leader Akash Rai proposed a vote of thanks and Geetha K.V. compered the event.
NSS officer Mrs Pushpa N., was gracefully present on the dais.
Public Relations Officer Bharathi S. Rai, and Dr Radhakrishna Gowda, Dean of Department of Business Administration were present on the occasion along with the NSS volunteers.
