Baku, Azerbaijan, November 22, 2024: Mr. Roshan Melwyn Lobo, Secretary General of International YCS, and Advocate Antony Judy, a dedicated collaborator of International YCS, both from India, attended the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP-29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11th to 22nd, 2024.

Joining them was Mr. Roy Ibrahim from Lebanon, the Programme Coordinator of International YCS. This trio of Indian delegates represented the vibrant and committed youth voice of the Young Christian Students (YCS) movement.

Attending COP-29 provided these young leaders with an invaluable opportunity to engage with global climate experts, policymakers, and youth activists. They gained firsthand knowledge of the latest climate science, policy developments, and innovative solutions. By participating in various sessions, workshops, and negotiations, they contributed to the global discourse on climate change and advocated for ambitious climate action.
