Vorkady, Sep 8 , 2024 : The Monthi Festh at Sacred Heart Church, Vorkady, was celebrated with great solemnity. Fr. Santhosh D'Souza, the assistant parish priest, was the main celebrant and delivered a meaningful sermon on the joy in family, the importance of sharing, and unity. The celebration began with Fr. Basil Vas, the parish priest, blessing the newly harvested corn. Approximately 1,300 people participated in the festivities, with sugarcane and payasam distributed to all.
