Moodbidri, Sep 5, 2024 : Two young talents from Corpus Christi Church have made their mark in prestigious competitions, bringing pride to the community.

Master Ashwil Niel Lobo, son of Arun Victor Lobo and Vinitha Irene Lobo, a 7th standard student at Carmel School, Moodbidri, has been awarded the title of “Little Artist” at the "Chinnara Chitra Chittara" 2023-24 National Children's Drawing Competition. His artwork was selected and appreciated by the judges, earning him the Vincent Van Gogh Certificate Award. The competition was jointly organized by Bannada Mane Samskrutika Vedike, Karnataka Balavikasa Academy, and Balabhavana Society Bengaluru. Ashwil was honored with a special memento and certificate for his outstanding achievement.

In another accomplishment, Miss Nikki Dcosta, daughter of Naveen Joel and Sylvia Janet from the Concessao Ward, Corpus Christi Church, has excelled in the State-level Spell Bee competition. Nikki, a bright student in 2nd and 3rd standard, secured the 48th and 79th ranks, respectively. Her remarkable performance has brought recognition to the local community, demonstrating her exceptional linguistic skills.

Both students have made their families , church and school proud, standing as examples of dedication and talent in their respective fields.
