Belthangady, July 31 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Belthangady organized inter-ward field competition "Gadyanth Govji 2k24" on July 7, 2024, at the Allatabail field near CVC Hall, Belthangady, for parishioners.

The event was graced by the presence of Most Rev. Fr. Walter D'Mello, Vicar of Belthangady Parish; Rev. Fr. Clifford Pinto, Principal of Holy Redeemer School, Belthangady; Sister Jacintha, Superior St. Theresa Convent Belthangady; Ms. Benedicta; Mr. Walter Monis, Vice President of the Parish council; Mr. Gilbert Pinto, Secretary of the Parish council; Mrs. Pauline Rego, All Commissions' Coordinator; and ICYM animators Mr. Wilson Monis, Dr. Flavia, and Anselma, President of the unit, along with Ajay, Secretary of the unit, who were present during the inauguration ceremony. Joselin and Anselma led the prayer service, and Anselma welcomed the guests.

Various field competitions and activities followed, divided into categories for children, youth, and elders of the parish. The program concluded with a valedictory ceremony featuring the same guests, including Mr. Jaison, Vice President of the ICYM Belthangady Deanery. Princita delivered the vote of thanks, and Larine Pereira compered the stage program. All the youth of the unit, along with parishioners, enthusiastically participated throughout the day. The unit arranged for breakfast and lunch, and the event concluded with a Baila dance and DJ session.
