NYMPHA SADAN, established in 2007, is home to 23 seniors, 5 sisters, 10 caretakers, and 6 helpers, under the guidance of Superior Dr. Saritha Dcunha. The event allowed youth to delve into the stories and feelings, gaining valuable insights and fostering deeper connections.

The program began with a prayer led by Viola Lewis, Mijarc Asia Co-ordinator, followed by a warm welcome from Dr. Saritha Dcunha. The inauguration featured the elders cutting a cake, and the gathering wished them a happy Elders' Day. Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, in his presidential address " Our elders are our wealth, they carry experiences, knowledge which has been passed on from our ancestors. Not just today we have to celebrate and embrace them everyday."

The youth then interacted with the elders, receiving their blessings and good wishes. An action song presentation by the youth encouraged the elders to sing along, and they enthusiastically participated, thoroughly enjoying the event.

Nihan Sequeira, Vice President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, hosted the program. Glany and Prithesh Lobo, members of ICYM Central Council, shared their experiences. Winston Sequeira, President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, delivered the vote of thanks.
