Jeppu - Mangaluru, July 25 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Jeppu Unit, organized 'Yuva Sahamilan 2k24' for the youths on 21 July 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Natak Sabha Hall, Jeppu, Mangalore. The day began with a welcoming breakfast, and the official program started at 10 a.m. The emcee, Joint Secretary Jeevitha D'Souza, introduced the event. Prayer was conducted by ICYM youth, and President Joel Alfred welcomed the guests and the gathering.

The dignitaries on the dais were Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Maxim D'Souza, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Alwin Miranda, Secretary Mrs. Marita D'Souza, ICYM Animator Mr. Michael D'Souza, Lady Animator Mrs. Shalet D'Souza, President Joel Alfred, and Secretary Reshma Penha.

The program was inaugurated by bursting balloons. Rev. Fr. Maxim D'Souza encouraged the youths. A vote of thanks was given by ICYM Jeppu unit secretary Reshma Penha.

After the inaugural program, ICYM member Sean Moreira and his team divided the youth into 4 groups and conducted a Bible quiz. Resource person Mr. Eugene D'Cunha was welcomed to the program and spoke about the 'Teenage period'; it was a good session.

ICYM Mangalore Diocese Director Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, ECD President Suzanha, and Secretary Murel were present for this program. Fr. Ashwin gave a short message on the importance of the day.

After lunch, Sean Moreira and his team conducted games, and everyone had fun. At the end, the results were announced, and the winners received medal. 36 youths participated enthusiastically. It was an amazing day with the youth.
