Kasaragod, July 11 : ICYM Kasaragod Deanery, in collaboration with the Kayyar unit, organized a get-together for the former and newly elected Kasaragod Deanery executive committee on 6th July 2024 at Christ King Church, Kayyar. The event aimed to foster camaraderie and facilitate a smooth transition between the outgoing and incoming committees.

The program commenced with prayer, setting a spiritual tone for the gathering. Fun activities, including games and action songs, were conducted to encourage bonding among the participants.

Mr. Melwyn Dsouza, President of ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate, welcomed the gathering. The guest of honor included Rev Fr Vishal Monis, Parish Priest of Kayyar & Director of ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate; Sr Severine D’Cunha, Animator of ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate; Mr. Roshan D'Souza, Animator of CKYM Kayyar; Sr Jasmine D'Souza, Animator of CKYM Kayyar; Mr. Delwin Dsouza, Vice President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. Both former and newly elected executive committee members, along with CKYM Kayyar youths, were also present.

Following the welcome, Ms. Jasmitha Monthero, Immediate Past President, and Ms. Ashitha Monthero, Former Secretary of Kasaragod Deanery, shared their experiences and insights from their tenure. Rev Fr Vishal Monis and Sr Severine D’Cunha then addressed the gathering, reflecting on past achievements and motivating the new committee members while outlining plans for the upcoming year, 2024-25.

Ms. Neema delivered a vote of thanks, and Rev Fr Vishal Monis concluded the event with a prayer, marking the end of a successful and engaging get-together.
