Leaders are born in the school as students get their first lesson in leadership from school. Keeping the rich traditions of empowering its students with the means to become successful leaders, Carmel school Moodbidri organised the Investiture Ceremony on 10th June 2024 at the school auditorium.
The esteemed guests received an exuberant welcome on their arrival to the rhythmic beats of the school band.
The cabinet members marched in with zeal and enthusiasm to adorn the mantle of leadership and responsibilities entrusted to them. The dignitaries solemnly marched in the auditorium with the Chief guest Mr.Ronald Silvan D'souza, CEO of Leksa lighting's technology private limited, Sr. Maria Gracilda the Principal, Sr. Elena the Administrator, Sr. Preena the Vice Principal, Sr.Ranitha and Sr.Rossy the Coordinators, Mr.Jossy Menezes Vice President of PTA and members of the Executive Committee.
The ceremony began with invoking God's blessings through prayer followed by blissful prayer dance. The symbolic lighting of the lamp by all dignitaries was a visual representation of the bright future ahead for the school council members. During the glorious event a genial welcome was done through welcome dance. This was followed by a skit about the "Qualities of leadership."
The Principal administered the oath to the student council in the presence of Alma Mater through an oath taking ceremony. The cabinet members took the oath allegiance to the Carmel values and mission while imparting their duties and responsibilities.
The Chief guest delivered a wonderful speech about leadership by giving his own life example. He inspired students how one needs to work hard to achieve his/her goal.
The Principal in her address to the cabinet members motivated the students how good qualities make good leaders. A motivational video was presented by conveying the message of team spirit and leadership.
The programme was compered by students Chandan Poojary and Aayush Srinivas. Master.Joswin welcomed the gathering. Head girl Hiba Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks.
