Vorkady, March 29 : Maundy Thursday was celebrated on 28th March 2024 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady. Rev Fr Prakash Wilfred DSouza the director of St Joseph's Engineering College presided over the liturgy. He preached about sacrifice by each of us when we celebrate the Eucharist as Jesus himself who sacrificed his life for our salvation.

Parish priest Fr Basil Vas washed the feet of 12 appointed persons as apostles. Ursuline sisters conducted a meaningful adoration at the altar of repose. The Legion of Mary helped in Liturgy.
