Valencia, March 29, 2024 : Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter, believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with His disciples. Most notably, that Passover meal was when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility. He then commanded them to do the same for each other.

Holy Eucharist, was celebrated at St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia. The service commenced at 6.00PM at the Church ground on March 28. The main celebrant was Parish Priest Fr Roque DSa.

As a symbolic gesture and tradition to commemorate the act of washing off the feet, Fr Roque DSa washed the feet of the twelve parishioners.

Asst PP Fr Vijay Monterio, Fr Felix Monterio and Fr Manoj were the co-celebrants.
