Kinnigoli, March 19 : On Sunday, March 17th, 2024, the ICYM St Jude Mangalore North Deanery, in collaboration with the ICYM Niddodi Unit, hosted a spiritually enriching event named "Uzwad" at Little Flower Church, Niddodi. The primary aim of this event was to promote spiritual growth and fellowship among the youth within the Deanery.

The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to all participants by Rev Fr Lancy Saldanha, the Director of ICYM Mangalore North Deanery. Rev Fr Saldanha underscored the significance of the occasion, setting the tone for a spiritually uplifting gathering.

The worship session, led by Rev Fr Rahul Dextor Dsouza, facilitated a heartfelt worship of Jesus among the Deanery youths. Participants engaged in prayer and praise, creating an atmosphere filled with reverence and devotion. A Taize prayer, known for its meditative nature, was conducted under Fr Rahul Dextor's guidance, accompanied by a choir team presenting melodious hymns.

The event garnered enthusiastic participation from over 100 youths across the Deanery, reflecting their eagerness to engage in spiritual activities and deepen their faith.

The spiritual program concluded on a positive note with Deanery President, Lester Vinal Lasrado, delivering a vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and volunteers for their contributions to the event's success. The event not only served as a platform for spiritual rejuvenation but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the Deanery youths.
