Vorkady, March 3 : Catechism Sunday was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church Vorkady on 25th February 2024. The catechism children and parents took part actively in the Sunday mass liturgy. Soon after the mass breakfast was served to all children and parents.

Then a stage program was held to honor the prize winners and regular students. Parish priest Fr Basil Vas presided over the program. Rev Fr Wilson Lobo SAC presided over the Eucharist and was chief guest for the program. Br Joel Monteiro, and all the teachers were also honoured and thanked.

Mrs Sunitha Crasta, the animator of the Sunday Catechism did the vote of thanks. Mr Martin DSouza welcomed all. Mrs Sandhya D Souza the secretary of the Parish pastoral council and the superiors of both the convents were also present.

The Children performed through their religious dances and skits. Almost 400 took part in the program.
