Vorkady Church Hosts Record-Breaking Charismatic Convention : Spiritual Retreat Draws Over 3000 Attendees

Vorkady, March 3 : Annual retreat was held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Vorkady as a charismatic convention from 14th to 17th of February 2024. It was led by Fr Joseph D Souza OCD and Br Prakash D Souza. Fr Wilson Tauro OCD also assisted.

Parish Priest Fr Basil Vas took active part in guiding the convention. Vice President Mr Rajesh D Souza and the parish Pastoral council worked actively as volunteers along with a strong body of 50 volunteers from the parish.

It was held from 4pm to 8pm. A record crowd of more than 3000 people participated in this religious event. A big number of Christians from the neighbouring parishes flocked to listen to the Word.
