Moodbidri, Dec 27 : Christmas was celebrated with devotion and fervor at  St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura, Murkoth Palke on the eve of 24th December 2023. The celebration began with Carol signing by the parish choir at 7pm. The grand festal mass began at 7.30 pm where native priest Rev Fr Rohith Dcosta was the main celebrant and delivered a meaningful homily. Parish priest Rev Fr Noel Mascarenhas, Rev Fr Rohan Dias and Rev Fr Ashwil Dias concelebrated.

The mass was followed by the "Natalancho Sambhram 2023" event organised by the parish ICYM unit. Various songs, dances and skits were presented by the parishioners. Exciting Lucky Dip draw was held. Winners of various games conducted for the parishioners, were awarded with prizes.

Parishioners wished each other the festal greetings and shared Kuswar. Parish Priest Fr. Noel thanked the parishioners, well wishers and sponsors for their support in celebrating Christmas on such a grand scale.
