Mangaluru, Sep 25, 2023 : Heeding to the call of Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, an inter-organizational Anti Drug WALKATHON was organized by CODP/Bandhavya, Padua College of Commerce and Management, White Doves and Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh® on September 25.

The above organizers along with collaborators like Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work, St. Agnes College marched 2km WALKATHON from Padua /CODP Campus Nanthoor to Bendur church campus.

The program was concluded with awareness talk on NDPS Act by Karnataka Lokayuktha Police Dakshina Kannada SP C.A Simon. Dr Rohan Spoke on side effects of drugs. Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro delivered the presidential address asking youth to be useful and powerful youngsters of young India.

Program was compered by Mr Roshan, Lecturer of Padua College Nanthoor. Fr Vincent Dsouza Director of CODP welcomed the gathering. Fr. Arun Lobo Principal of the college proposed vote of thanks. Around 600 youth took part in this WALKATHON. Refreshments were served to the gathering.
