Mangaluru, Aug 8 : ICYM Fermai Unit organized “Yuva Ekthar 2023” Program for the Youth of St Antony Church Fermai on 6th August 2023 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Fermai Church Hall .

Rev Dr. Mark Castelino Director of ICYM Fermai Unit , Resource Person Fr. Anil Ivan Fernandes , ICYM City Deanery President Ashton D'Souza, Parish council Vice-president Clara Pinto , Parish council Secretary Mark Prakash Lobo ,All committee coordinator Prashant Saldanha, ICYM Animator John Prakash Pinto and ICYM President Preston Oliver Lobo were the Dignitaries on the dais.

The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song led by ICYM Members. ICYM  President Preston Oliver Lobo welcomed the guests. The program was inaugurated by adding colours to a sheet which stated "Yuva Ekthar 2023".

The 1st session was conducted by Fr Anil Ivan Fernandes. The talk was on Balancing social media life and making right choices.

The 2nd session was conducted by Ms Melrida Jane Menezes on ICYM and Leadership. 4 groups were made and activities were conducted along with action songs. Ice breaking session and games was conducted in the afternoon by Mr Melston Norhonha.

Overall it was a fun-filled day showered with enthusiasm and joy.

Valedictory program was compered by ICYM immediate past President Allen D'sa. ICYM President of Mangalore Diocese Mithesh Dsouza was present and inspired the youth with his words. Mangalore Central Council members joined the valedictory program.

ICYM Fermai Unit secretary Jenisha D'Souza delivered Vote of Thanks. Oshin Josita Lobo member of ICYM Fermai Unit assisted as Master of Ceremony for the whole day.

Finally the program was concluded by distributing prizes to the winners.
