Mangaluru, Aug 8 : The Commission of Health, St Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga conducted a health check-up camp under the auspices of Healthcare Diagnostic Laboratory Farangipet and Mediquest Healthcare Farangipet on August 6th 2023 at Neermarga Church Sambhram Hall.

The parishioner, Most Rev. Dr. Thomas D’Souza, Bishop of Kolkata Diocese was present at this function who said, "Everyone should exercise due care towards personal health and health of the family members. Christ being the true healer, let him grant good health and protect all of us, He further added let our care and concern for others not just be in words, but be in deeds too.”  He extended his best wishes to the program organizers.

The Parish Priest Fr Paul Pinto in his address said, "Health check up at hospitals is a very time consuming affair. But when we have a camp like this at our doorstep, we must make use of it".

Msgr Dominic Gomes, Vicar General, Kolkata Diocese, PPC Vice President and Health Commission Convenor Mr Francis Gonsalves, PPC Secretary Mrs Usha Fernandes, Coordinator of all Commissions Mr Maurice Renjal, Ms Saritha DSouza from Mediquest Healthcare were on the dais.

Mr Francis Gonsalves welcomed the gathering, Mr Maurice Renjal proposed vote of thanks.

Healthcare Diagnostic staff carried out various blood tests at concessional rates. BP, sugar and haemoglobin tests are done at free of cost. Nearly 110 people benefited from this camp.
