Mangaluru, July 28 : The Annual Feast of St Lawrence Church , Bondel will be celebrated on 10th Aug 2023. The Nine-day Novena prior to the Annual feast will begin on Tuesday, August 1st 2023. From 1st Aug to 9th August , evening mass at 5.30 p.m. will be offered for all the devotees.
On 1st August, there will be the unfurling of St Lawrence’ flag here at the church premises at 5..00 p.m. Rev. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Vicar General of the Diocese of Udupi will hoist the flag. Rev. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves will be celebrating the mass.
The Festal Mass on Aug 10th at 10:30 a.m. will be presided over by Most Rev. Dr Henry Dsouza, Bishop of Bellary Diocese and at 6:00 p.m., will be presided over by Rev. Dr Roshan D'Souza, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese.
On all the days of devotion this year starting from August 1st 2023 and ending with the feast on August 10 2023 devotees will be given blessed bread from 1st Aug to 9th Aug. Devotees across the city come to the shrine with great faith and they pray for an in-depth gift of faith in the shrine.
During the novena’s, all the church programmes will be conducted under the guidance of Parish Priest Rev Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza & Mr. Prakash Pinto, Convener, Shrine Committee.
All are cordially invited to the annual feast which will be held on Wednesday, 10th of August 2023 at 10.30 am & evening at 6.00 pm.
The devotees’ goodwill offerings and Mass offerings will be gratefully accepted. Blessed articles will be available in the religious stalls.
