Bantwal, July 27 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Most Holy Saviour Church, Agrar in collaboration with the Youth Commission (Yuva Ayog) is organizing the Agrar Premier League (APL) 2023-24. The first part of this league, known as "Fusion Fiesta" took place on July 23rd at the Agrar Auditorium. The fest featured seven competitions, held among six pre-formed groups.
The event commenced with a stage program, graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter D'Souza, the parish priest of Agrar church, who was the guest of honor. The master of ceremony, Viola Rodrigues skillfully conducted the stage program. Jovin Carlo, the President of ICYM Agrar unit delivered the warm welcome speech, extending greetings to all attendees. The esteemed guest inaugurated the program and shared inspiring words with the audience. Following this, President Jovin Carlo delivered an eloquent speech.
Subsequently, the competitions commenced, which included Vovyo singing, Quiz, Vegetable Carving, Drawing Competition, Singing Competition, Fashion Show and Mad Ad.
At the end of the competitions, ICYM Agrar took the opportunity to honor the judges for their invaluable service. Additionally, they felicitated the President of ICYM Bantwal Deanery, Nihan Sequeira acknowledging his unwavering support and well-wishes.
In the presence of the committee members, the results were unveiled and Delton Lobo, the auditor of ICYM Agrar unit announced the winners. Nicole Moras, the secretary then expressed gratitude and delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded on a high note with the ICYM theme song, leaving everyone with fond memories of Fusion Fiesta.
