St Agnes PU College organized felicitation program to the achievers of the II PUC annual examination March 2023 of the Commerce and Arts streams on July 22, 2023 in the college auditorium at 9.15 a.m.

The program was combined with ‘Career Expo’ to enable students to beware of the various career avenues open to them.The program commenced with a soulful prayer song led by Ms Caroline Dcunha and team.

The toppers, Centum scorers and distinction holders of Commerce and Arts streams were felicitated by the Principal Sr Norine Dsouza, Chief guests Mrs Sandhya Nayak, Mrs Shanthi Nazareth and Mr Rodney Vaz honoured students with certificates of excellence for their exceptional academic performance.

Ms Samhita Prabhu, the Arts topper and Ms Renisha Viola D'Souza, Commerce topper shared their inspiring journey with the students.

Mrs Sandhya Nayak, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English,St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru congratulated all the students for the unprecedented academic performance in the examination.

Mrs Sandhya Nayak, Assistant Professor in English, Mrs Shanthi Nazareth, Assistant Professor in Secretarial Practice, Mr.Rodney Vaz, Assistant Professor in Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, were resource persons for the Career guidance session.

The resource persons emphasized that choosing the right career is a significant and pivotal decision in one's life. They stressed on hard work, discipline and conceptual knowledge required to pursue any career in life. Confidence building activities were conducted by their team.

The program was coordinated by Mrs Jyothi M Pinto, HOD, Department of Humanities, Mrs Preema Pereira, HOD, Department of Computer Science. Mrs Lovina Aranha, Department of Commerce took charge of the felicitation ceremony, Mrs Shubhavani Department of Computer Science welcomed the gathering.

The session was compered by Mrs Avitha D'Souza, Department of Humanities. Mrs Shailaja Department of Kannada delivered the vote of thanks.
