Omzoor, July 24, 2023 : Career guidance can help children identify their careers that match their skills, interests, and personality. Keeping this in mind, the Education Commission (Shikpa Ayog), Omzoor organised a career guidance programme for the children of class 5th to 10th along with their parents on Sunday, July 23 at 8.30 am at Sabha Bhavan, Omzoor.

Gyaral Milton Lobo, Secretary of Shikpa Ayog welcomed the gathering. Training began with a prayer song. Fr Alwyn Dsouza, parish priest addressed the gathering.

Asst Prof. Alwyn D'Souza, faculty member of St Aloysius College was the resource person for the training session. He gave a motivational talk on ICS, UPSC, civil services and government jobs. He briefed on the competitive exams during the session. He also beautifully explained how to prepare for the competitive exams.

Fr Alwyn Dcunha, Parish Priest, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council Arthur Dsouza, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Mrs Dafny Lewis, Church Commissions Co-ordinator Elroy Saldanha, Br. Rajath were present during the programme.

Milton Lobo proposed vote of thanks. Around 100 participants including students and their parents participated in the training session.
