Moodbidri, Feb 18 : Redemptorist priest Rev Fr Noel Mascarenhas took charge as new Parish Priest of St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura on Friday , 17th February 2023. V Rev Fr Onil Dsouza, Vicar Forane of Moodbidri deanery led the charge-taking ceremony as Bishop's representative. Fr Noel took charge from Parochial administrator Rev Fr Rakesh Mathias.

Redemptorist Vice Provincial of the Vice Province of Majella , Mumbai Rev Fr Henry Fernandes, Resident priest Rev Fr Dony Cardoza, Rev Fr Rohan Dias, Parish Secretary Vincent Dsouza were present on the occasion. Large number of faithful witnessed this ceremony.

Parishioners honoured Fr Rakesh & Fr Dony for their valuable service in the parish. Kiran Fernandes compered the stage function that followed the charge taking ceremony.

Refreshments were served to the gathering.
