Mangaluru, Nov 20 : The Golden Jubilee and Silver Jubilee bells were ringing audibly in Mangalore Province, as they hosted the day of the jubilation on 20th November 2022. Indeed it was a great joy and thanksgiving for the members of the Province as they recalled the blessings of God poured on us through the instrumentality of Sr Patsy, Sr Amala, Sr Amitha, Sr Benignus, Sr Marcellinus, Sr Jessilita, Sr Esthelita and Sr Jasmine and the Silver Jubilee of Sr Justine Gracy, Sr Reena DSouza, Sr Lidwin Jyothi, Sr Leena Pereira, Sr Lilly Pereira BS. The felicitation programme was held in the portals of Bethany Provincialate Vamanjoor. Along with the jubilarians and Provincial Superior Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca were present on the dais.

Sr Roshel BS the Provincial Councillor welcomed the guests and the gathered members on the occasion. Jubilarians were honoured with shawl and garland along with citation. The Sisters from Santa Cruz Convent, Kulshekar sang the greeting song and then jubilarians carved the jubilee cake. They were appreciated for their services rendered in different capacities. Sr Leena Pereira and Sr Jessilita expressed sentiments of Gratitude on behalf of the Jubilarians.

Rev Fr Daniel Veigas episcopal Vicar for Religious & Fr Vishwas Joy SJ officiated the thanksgiving Eucharist and prayed God’s abundant blessings on the Jubilarians. The sisters of Santa Cruz community led the liturgical music. Sr Reena Juliet BS and Sr Laveena Cardoza BS compeered the programme.
