Tandagunda - Shikaripura, May 14, 2024 : St. Paul the Hermit Church, Tandagunda, Shikaripura Taluk, Diocese of Shimoga celebrated its Annual feast on May 13.

Fr Franklin D'Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District was the main celebrant. He also preached the homily. He based his homily on Matthew 19:16-26. He spoke on various spiritualities namely - Ascetical, Mystical, Active, Aesthetic and Prophetic. Paul the Hermit had deep convictions of his faith. He lived 90 years in the desert itself shows how deep were his convictions and lived an Ascetic life. "We need to follow his spiritual model and get closer to Jesus in our lives too", said Fr Franklin.

After the Mass Fr Lancy D'Souza blessed the candles and distributed them to the donors and Samudaya's.

Parish Priest Fr Robert MSFS thanked the main celebrant and priests who concelebrated.

Parish Priest and faithful felicitated Jubilarians Fr Franklin D'Souza and Fr Lancy D'Souza as they celebrated their Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee on May 10th.

Meals were served for all.
