Mangaluru, March 8 : Jesnia Correa, a talented roller skater of grade 8 from Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, has been honored with the esteemed Hoysala and Keladi Chennamma Award 2024-25 for her outstanding achievements in roller skating. The prestigious award with a certificate and cash prize of Rs 10,000/- was conferred on her by the Dakshina Kannada District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Women and Child Development Department, Dakshina Kannada, during the International Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2025, in recognition of her exceptional accomplishments in roller skating.
