Mangaluru, Jan 20 : Guest Lecture on the POSH Act was organised at St Agnes College on 20th January 2025 for the Students of Arts. Dr. Deviprabha was the guest speaker.

Objective:

The primary objective of this session was to enhance the understanding and awareness of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH) Act among students.

This included:

1. Understanding the key provisions and legal framework of the POSH Act.
2. Identifying different forms of sexual harassment in the workplace.
3. Learning about prevention strategies and best practices.
4. Familiarizing with the internal complaints committee (ICC) and its functions.
5. Understanding the legal remedies and support available to victims.
