Mangaluru, Jan 12 : ‘Empowering alumnae, transforming communities’ - For the first time on completion of 25 glorious years of Ladyhill Victoria Girls’ P.U. College, “Victorian Memorias” an alumnae association meet was organised on January 11th 2025. The Reunion was an ensemble of Alumnae scholars, academicians, professionals and homemakers to recreate and rekindle the legacy within them “Through effort to glory” the College motto.

The programme began with an Invocation and rhythmic welcome. Lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries signified the inaugural of the first Alumnae meet. Principal Sr.Ujvala A.C. gave the Presidential address.

The Executive Committee for the Alumna Association was also formed for the betterment of the institution. Alumnae Reshel Bretny Fernandes was appointed as the Vice President and Ashwini Meti as the Secretary. The Executive Committee also included Vaishnavi S.Shetty, Arshiya Banu, U.Dhanya Chandrashekhar , Gayana M.J. and Ayeshthul Rima as members along with President Sr. Shermila A.C. and the staff conveners Seema Sheikh( Treasurer) and Rithin Almeida.

The event featured interactive games, sharing of experiences reviving old memories and talent display by the alumnae continued after serving of refreshments. The reunion was a resounding success, with alumnae expressing gratitude for the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and classmates. The feedback received from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many requesting more frequent reunions and increased opportunities for engagement with the almamater.

The staff conveners of Alumnae Association Mrs. Rithin Almeida welcomed the audience and Mrs.Seema Sheikh delivered the vote of thanks. Ayeshthul Rima compered the event.
