Moodbidri, Dec 27 : On 20th December 2024, Carmel School Moodbidri organized a thought-provoking Panel Discussion aimed at nurturing intellectual growth and holistic development among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of junior and senior categories, who shared insightful perspectives on contemporary and relevant topics, showcasing their analytical and public speaking skills.

For the junior category, the topic of discussion was “How do you maintain balance between academics, activities, and personal life?” while the senior category explored the topic, “How has Carmel School helped you improve your personality and face the future?”

The program commenced with a warm and eloquent welcome address by Aveni A. Kini, setting an inspiring tone for the session. The discussions were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges: Pradyumna, Risha, Clarisa, and Sweaton, who meticulously assessed the participants based on their content, clarity, and delivery. The students displayed remarkable confidence and depth of understanding as they expressed their views, engaging the audience with their thought-provoking arguments and insightful observations.

In the junior category, Class 8B secured first place, followed by Class 6B in second and third places. In the senior category, Class 10B emerged victorious, with Class 10A securing the second place.

The event was graced by the Vice Principal, Sr. Preena, and Coordinator, Sr. Rantha, who offered words of encouragement to all the participants, appreciating their enthusiasm and effort. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Deon Paul Pinto, who expressed gratitude to the judges, teachers, and students for their active involvement and support, ensuring the success of the event.

This enriching experience not only honed the students' public speaking and analytical skills but also reinforced Carmel School's commitment to holistic education. It prepared its students to face future challenges with confidence and grace, while fostering a spirit of teamwork and intellectual growth.
