Mangaluru, Dec 3 : The 34th Poetica Kavigoshti was organised on 24th November, 2024 under the aegis of Mandd Sobhann. The inauguration programme commenced at 5 p.m.

Director of Poetica and the Gurkar of Mand Sobhan Mr. Eric Ozario, Mrs. Joyce Ozario, Treasurer of Mand Sobhan Mr. Alron Rodrigues, Secretary Mr. Karen Madtha, Gurkar of Poetica Mr. Naveen Pereira and Poet Mr. Arthur Pereira were present on the stage during the inaugural programme.

The chief guest of the programme Mr. Eric Ozario in his inaugural address stressed on the importance of speaking in Konkani language.

Mr. Rony Crasta, Kelarai and Dr. Annie Dimple Castelino moderated the Poetry Session that followed. Poets from Goa and Mangalore presented their poems during the poetry recitation session in most effective manner.

Rakhno award winner Mrs. Lavi Ganjimata was felicitated during the programme. The programme was co-sponsored by Mr. Alan Pereira, Omzoor, Mr. Lancy Danthis Paladka, Mr. Maxim Rodrigues Bondel and Mr. Ivan Fernandes, Moodubidri. The sponsors who were present were honoured during the programme.

The programme was compered by Mrs. Preetha Miranda. The programme culminated with dinner.
