Puttur, 23 November 2024 : “In today’s world, fostering a value-based environment is paramount. Our activities should reflect these values,” emphasized Dr Sheshappa K., NSS Programme Coordinator of Mangalore University, as he addressed the gathering at ‘Philo Sevamrutha -2024’, the Annual NSS Fest organized by the NSS units of St Philomena Autonomous College.
Dr Sheshappa, serving as the Chief Guest, lauded the focus of the event on instilling values through service-oriented initiatives.
Presiding over the event, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal of the College, highlighted the importance of collective efforts in building a value-driven society. “Through service, we must brighten society with the light of awareness,” he said, inspiring the participants to unite for meaningful societal contributions.
The fest featured a variety of cultural competitions, with prizes distributed to the winning students, celebrating their enthusiasm and creativity.
Vice-Principal Vijay Kumar Moleyar, NSS Officers Dr K Chandrashekar, and Mrs Pushpa N. graced the dais with their presence.
Archana extended a warm welcome. Vishnujith proposed a vote of thanks and NSS unit leader Kavya compered the program.
