Udupi, Nov 15 : St. Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School (CBSE) celebrated Children’s Day on November 14, 2024, with a burst of joy, laughter, and excitement. The campus was transformed into a vibrant wonderland as students arrived, dressed in colorful attire. A palpable sense of camaraderie filled the air, setting the stage for a day of fun and festivities.

The celebration began with a heartfelt prayer service, where teachers and students gathered in gratitude and anticipation. This was followed by a lively welcome dance and a special song to greet all the children a Happy Children’s Day. The principal joined in the greetings, expressing warm wishes and admiration for each child, making them feel cherished and valued.

Prizes were given out to honour the students' accomplishments and abilities and to acknowledge the winners of numerous events held during the month, adding to the joyous atmosphere. A number of entertaining indoor and outdoor activities followed, encouraging good-natured contention and fun. Everyone smiled and felt proud when the winners received tokens of appreciation.

As the day progressed, students enjoyed a delectable afternoon meal. Children left at the end of the day with happy hearts and memories of a day that was all about them.
