Mangaluru, Oct 29, 2024 : In the AICS Inter-School Swimming Championships 2024 held for Udupi and D.K schools at The Yenepoya School, students of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru excelled by winning multiple medals across various events.
Individual Achievements:
Ronan Aaron Dsilva, Grade X, won a silver in the 200m individual medley, silver in the 50m breaststroke, and bronze in the 50m butterfly.
Reema A.S, Grade VII, secured a gold in the 50m backstroke and a silver in the 50m freestyle.
Shayden Prinston Rego, Grade V, earned silver in the 50m breaststroke.
Alita Dsouza, Grade IV, took home a silver in the 50m breaststroke.
Nishka Sonora Fernandes, Grade IV, bagged a silver in the 50m backstroke, bronze in the 50m butterfly, and bronze in the 200m individual medley.

Relay Team Performances:
The Girls Under-12 Freestyle Relay team won bronze, as did the Under-12 Medley Relay team, comprising Reema A.S (Grade VII), Princia Velora Lobo (Grade VII), Nishka Fernandes (Grade IV), and Alita DSouza (Grade IV).
