Mangaluru, Oct 3, 2024 : The Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive at Mangalore Junction Railway Station, led by the NCC cadets of St. Theresa's School, aimed to promote cleanliness and hygiene while encouraging public participation for a healthier environment.

Eighteen NCC cadets actively took part in the drive under the expert guidance of ANO Mrs. Thyagavalli. The Indian Railway Authorities also organized quiz, essay, and drawing competitions to raise awareness about cleanliness. Following these activities, the cadets took the lead in cleaning the station, inspiring others to join their efforts.

These combined actions significantly improved the cleanliness and hygiene of Mangalore Railway Station. The drive successfully raised awareness and demonstrated the power of collective action in enhancing community standards.
