Mangaluru, Sep 6 : St. Agnes Preparatory School (CBSE) celebrated Red Colour Day on Friday, August 30, 2024, with immense excitement, turning the school into a vibrant display of red. The event was thoughtfully organized to help young students appreciate and comprehend the significance of the colour red, a primary colour, through a variety of engaging and interactive activities.

The celebration commenced with a lively singing session where children joyfully sang songs and rhymes centered around the colour red. Their cheerful voices filled the air as they learned about various red objects, from apples to roses, through music.

A designated “Red Corner” was established, exhibiting an assortment of red-hued items curated by the children. Encompassing red toys and red fruits, the corner provided a captivating visual experience, aiding the youngsters in recognizing and establishing a connection with the colour effortlessly.

The children engaged in creative craft activities, creating beautiful artwork with a red theme. By using materials such as red paper, paint, ribbons, and crayons, they crafted strawberries, ladybugs, and hearts. Their creativity was evident in each piece, showcasing their budding artistic skills.

Various games were arranged to entertain and captivate the children. Games like “Find the Red Object” and “Red Balloon Popping” were tailored to reinforce the concept of the color red while ensuring the children had a great time.

During a painting session, the young artists explored various shades of red, painting strawberries, watermelons, ladybugs, and more. By the end of the day, they proudly exhibited their masterpieces.

Red Colour Day was a great success, creating lasting memories for both children and teachers. This event not only made learning about the color red fun but also promoted creativity, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment among the young students.
