Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2024 : The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotism and enthusiasm at St. Ann's PU College. The stage was beautifully decorated in the colors of the national flag, and the atmosphere was charged with the spirit of freedom and unity. The program began with the arrival of the chief guest, Dr. Edmond Fernandes, Director of the Edward and Cynthia Institute of Public Health and Chief Coordinator of the Department of Public Health at Yenepoya Deemed to be University and other dignitaries :Sr. Shamitha, the Provincial Superior, Sr. Rose Agnes, Assistant Provincial Superior, Sr. Sudeepa, the Secretary, Sr. Smitha, the Joint Secretary, and the Principal, Sr. Rachana, were warmly received with a guard of honour.
The flag hoisting ceremony was held with full solemnity and tradition.
