Mangaluru, Aug 9, 2024 : In a remarkable display of strategic brilliance, the students of St Theresa's School, secured the runner-up position in the highly competitive Chess Tournament held on 8th August at Carmel School, Moodbidri.

The event, which drew top talents from across CBSE and ICSE Schools of Dakshina Kannada, saw students excel through the ranks, defeating several seasoned opponents. The final match was an intense showdown, with St Theresa's School students demonstrating exceptional skill and composure under pressure. Despite narrowly missing the top spot, the students' performance was lauded by both spectators and judges.

This achievement adds to St Theresa's School growing list of accolades in the chess world, solidifying their reputation as a formidable team. The school Principal Sr Lourdes congratulated the students as they have credited hours of practice and strategic learning for their success.
