Kinnikambla, Mangaluru, July 5 : On 3rd July, 2024, at 2 pm Rosa Mystica PU College hosted a successful PTA General Body Meeting in the college auditorium. The meeting saw enthusiastic participation from parents, Lecturers and students, demonstrating the strong family spirit and commitment to the educational development of the youth.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome address by the Dy. Secretary, Mrs Sujatha Sanil, who expressed gratitude for the active involvement of parents and the dedication of the Staff. She also appreciated the hard labour of Bethany Management to the Institution.

The Principal of the College addressed the gathering, highlighting the achievements of the college in the past academic year. The Principal also outlined the goals for the upcoming year and reiterated the significance of a supportive and nurturing environment for the students.

A renowned resource person Dr Ragavendra Holla, President of Swastik Business School, was invited to speak on the responsibilities of parents in taking care of the youth. Speaker provided valuable insights on various aspects, including: the role of parents in fostering a healthy and open communication channel of their children. The importance of monitoring academic progress and providing support and encouragement. The need for parents to be aware of their children’s social circles and activities to ensure a safe and conducive environment for growth. Strategies for instilling discipline and values in children to prepare them for future challenges.

President of the PTA meeting Sr Roselyta BS, encouraged the parents to remain actively involved in their children’s education and well-being, She stressed the importance of a strong partnership between home and school in ensuring the holistic development of students.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Avil Renil DSilva, acknowledging the efforts of the PTA members, Lectures and parents in organizing and participating in the meeting. Mrs Deepa Anchan compered the meeting. The event was deemed a great success, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility. The PTA General Body Meeting reinforced the collective commitment to nurturing the youth and preparing them for a bright future. The insights grained and the collaborative spirit witnessed during the meeting will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing efforts to support and guide the students.
