Mulki, June 24 : On Saturday 22nd June 2024 , Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School Kilpady, Mulki organised a seminar session on the topic “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE”, a workshop Empowering Educators with AI-Driven Teaching for a brighter future. Prayer was led by Mrs. Teena and the group . Mrs. Shashikala welcomed the gathering.

Resource person Fr Stephen Lobo OCD, Digital Motivational Speaker, gave an Introduction on motivational thoughts. Teacher motivation is crucial for fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

“Motivation should not be outside in rather inside out”. He motivated teachers to be more likely to be engaged, innovative and committed to their student’s success. Until motivation is based upon external sources you won’t be able to create history because the moment source is taken out the motivation is lost.

Another resource person Mr. Leo Victor Zalki, Oracle certified AI Professional, gave an introduction on Artificial Intelligence.

And how does the AI work? Artificial intelligence involves creating systems that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence. These tasks can include learning, reasoning, problem solving, understanding language and perception.

He introduced apps like ChatGPT, Canva, Gamma, Microsoft Copilot, Suno and Mizou.

Using all these apps involves interacting with a conversational AI to obtain information, generate text, audio visual, convert image to videos, create invitations, certificates, posters, cooking recipes etc.

By following these steps and tips,teachers can effectively use these apps in their teaching field. Overall, it was a quite useful seminar.
