Puttur, 13 June 2024 : The Centre for PG Studies and Research at St Philomena College, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, organized a successful science modelling programme on Tuesday at Papemajalu High School. The event aimed to engage High school students in practical science education.
In his address, Headmaster Mr Monappa Poojary emphasized the importance of understanding scientific principles and incorporating them into daily life. Mrs Shreemani, Coordinator of the Department of Social Work, highlighted the significance of such educational initiatives.

The event featured a variety of engaging science models that captivated the attention of the students. Among the notable exhibits were, ECG Machine, Laser Beam Demonstration and Noise Recognizer.
These models provided students with an opportunity to observe and analyse scientific concepts firsthand. Additionally, an educational quiz on the solar system was conducted, further enriching the knowledge of the students.
The program also included live chemical experiments, demonstrating various chemical reactions. These experiments were particularly beneficial, providing students with practical insights into the world of chemistry.
