They were provided a platform to put forth their agendas through election campaign speeches from class to class and during the morning assembly. The balloting was conducted at various election booths systematically set up in different classrooms, with students from grades 6 to 10 eligible to vote. Teachers validated the exercise of their vote by applying indelible ink on the left index fingernail to prevent duplicate voting. The confidentiality of voting and the transparency of procedures were maintained at all stages of the election.
In the auditorium, students from grades 6 to 10 gathered as Mrs. Lidwin and Mrs. Zeena read out the names, with Mrs. Jahnavi marking the tallies and Mrs. Akshatha assisting.
