Mangaluru, April 21 : The Valedictory Programme of 2024 of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru was held on 20 April 2024, at the Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium. The theme for the year 2024 was “Optimism Sparks Progress”.
The programme commenced with readings from the sacred scriptures urging the students to become better individuals and to use their knowledge for the good of others. The scripture reading was followed by a prayer song invoking God’s divine blessing on the students of the outgoing batch.
The programme included a welcome dance, skit, farewell song and a group dance, all of which emphasised the need to use their learning and skills to benefit humanity and pursue their dreams while always having an optimistic attitude towards life.
Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C. the Principal extended her best wishes to the students for the journey ahead. She urged the students to adhere to the values imparted to them in the college. She prayed for their well-being and wished for them a fruitful future. She encouraged the students to remember their Alma Mater and come back to the college to share their success stories.
The Student Presidents of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Ms Shainy Pinto and Ms Aditi accompanied by the student Vice Presidents, expressed their sentiments of nostalgia and gratefulness for their growth and joyful experiences in St Agnes College.
The UG Department of Commerce organised the programme. Ms Malavika Harish of II B.Com ACCA compered the programme.
Sr Dr M Vinora A.C., the PG Coordinator, Sr Carmel Rita A.C., the Administrator, Sr Clara A.C., the Vice Principal and Mrs Shubharekha, Dean Administration were also present on the occasion.
