Omzoor, Jul 25 : The Silver Jubilee inauguration of Catholic Sabha Omzoor unit was held on Sunday, 24th July 2022 at Holy Family Church, Omzoor. The celebration began with the holy mass at 7.30AM. The jubilee year was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Parish priest Fr Alwyn DCunha, the Vice president of parish pastoral council Patrick Pinto, president of Catholic Sabha Omzoor Unit Arthur Dsouza accompanied by the all Catholic Sabha members.

Post Eucharist celebration, the jubilee year was symbolically inaugurated by unveiling the banner of the 25th Jubilee year by Cyril Lobo and Lilly Lobo as the symbol of National Parents Day. A short glimpse of all the programs were presented.

Speaking on the occasion, the parish priest Fr Alwyn DCunha invited all the parishioners to take part in the events of the jubilee year which will be conducted by Catholic Sabha.

The main motto of the silver jubilee celebration is to spread the fragrance of the year by reuniting all the parishioners who became indolent during Corona.

Keeping in mind the motto of catholic Sabha, part of the fund raised will be used for the education of poor children and for emergency necessities of parishioners.
